 We began operations in Monrovia, California in March 1976. Star Auto Electric was founded by my father. Since his passing away in 1995, we still remain a family operation.
I have dedicated myself to supplying the automobile industry and especially consumers that own, British vehicle's with the highest quality products available.
I began working with generators in my high school years, the first step was taking the generators apart, cleaning and preparing the generators for refurbishing, and I would see the detiorated condition the field coils and armature were in. As the years past and I became familiarize with the generators I began to assemble them as a finish product.
My goal from the very beginning was to produce the best quality refurbished unit available in the aftermarket and that is were we are today.
My thirty years plus experience has been applied to the product we supply. I have hands on, on every single unit that we refurbish and that is the reason why when we refurbish a generator, the field coils and armatures are automatically replaced. Alternator stators, rotors, rectifiers, bearings and brushes are also replaced in every alternator we service.
Our product will meet or exceed original equipment manufacturers specifications.
